Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our Estates Property team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing office and staff accommodation requests, liaising with service users to identify needs, and developing minor works proposals based on achievable condition and property appraisals of the existing estate.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessing office and staff accommodation requests
- Liaising with service users to identify needs
- Developing minor works proposals
- Providing condition measured surveys of existing buildings
- Compiling reports to identify remedial action
- Assisting in Property Management within the Estates department
- Building Surveying degree or related third level qualification
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Immediate start with the opportunity to work with a large public body
- Weekly pay for all hours worked
- Good likelihood of role extension beyond the initial 6-month period
