Job Title: Lead/Head of Assurance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our ESG assurance and verification service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale sustainability assurance and verification engagements for real estate and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical lead for ESG assurance and verification services
  • Development of efficient, replicable products and marketing, sales, and delivery to a high standard
  • Delivery of assurance-adjacent services, including pre-assurance reviews, assurance-ready ESG reporting methodology development, and sustainability strategy validation
  • Project management, client management, proposal writing, and project delivery
  • Line management of team members, including workflow, utilization, performance, and development needs
Requirements:
  • Deep technical understanding of corporate sustainability reporting and data acquisition
  • Specific knowledge of carbon accounting principles, frameworks, and best practice in the real estate investment sector
  • Enthusiasm for assurance and verification, especially in sustainability data and reporting
  • Ability to work with senior management to strategically evolve the service offer and deliver the service plan
  • Experience in delivering assurance to different specifications and standards
Essential Experience:
  • Managing large-scale projects, project teams, and delivering to deadlines
  • Complex data management and environmental reporting for real estate portfolios
  • Account management and new business development with clients
  • Delivery of assurance engagements of sustainability data
Desirable Experience:
  • Delivery of marketing content
  • Leading, facilitating, and presenting at external workshops and seminars
  • Leading a team
  • Developing a service or business plan
