About the Role:

MCG Construction is seeking a highly skilled Lead AV Commissioning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the commissioning and integration of high-end residential AV systems, with a focus on Crestron Home and smart home IT network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure and commission DrayTek and Ruckus Wi-Fi IT networks
  2. Develop and implement Crestron programming, with a focus on Crestron Home
  3. Pre-configure and commission Cisco Layer 3 IT networks
  4. Design and implement smart home AV systems, including home cinema installations and programming
  5. Ensure high-quality audio and lighting systems are installed and calibrated
  6. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of smart home AV technologies and systems
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AV systems with other building systems

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in AV commissioning and integration, with a focus on residential systems
  2. Strong technical background in IT network systems, including Wi-Fi and Layer 3 networking
  3. Excellent programming skills, with a focus on Crestron and smart home systems
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
