We are seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our team at Steer Automotive Group in Washington. As an MET Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical and body work on assigned jobs, conducting inspections and diagnostics, and ensuring the timely arrival of replacement parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all necessary mechanical and body work on assigned jobs.
- Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
- Order replacement parts and ensure their timely arrival.
- Reassemble vehicles with new parts to restore them to pre-accident condition.
Requirements:
- Significant experience as an MET Technician, preferably from an accident repair background.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work skillfully and safely under pressure.
- Effective workload planning to meet agreed timescales.
- Ability to work in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
- A team player with the initiative to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility in approach and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Adherence to Health and Safety guidelines, including wearing provided PPE and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
