About the Role

At Steer Automotive Group, we're seeking a skilled Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team in Washington. As a key member of our repair process, you'll assess damaged vehicles, provide accurate repair estimates, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of damaged vehicles and provide accurate repair estimates.
  • Utilize technical expertise to identify the correct repair method and provide comprehensive repair plans.
  • Liaise with insurance companies, customers, and internal teams to ensure repair work and costs are authorized.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with customers and insurance companies.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of damage assessments, estimates, and repair progress.

About You

You'll have proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or similar role in the automotive repair industry. You'll be proficient in using relevant software, such as Audatex, and have a strong understanding of vehicle repair techniques.
