About the Role

We are looking for a talented Talent Development Specialist to join our team in Trafford Park, Manchester. As a Talent Development Specialist, you will support and develop local workforce initiatives, monitor and evaluate HR analytics, and work closely with colleagues on people projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and delivering local workforce initiatives
  • Analyzing HR data to inform business decisions
  • Collaborating with colleagues on people projects and ensuring successful implementation
  • Developing line management capability regarding people matters through coaching and guidance
  • Managing complex employment relations cases
  • Leading works council meetings and employee collaboration
  • Supporting recruitment and selection activities and promoting Essity as an Employer of Choice
  • Developing talent pipelines through partnerships with local schools and colleges
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in HR, ideally within a unionised environment
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience in developing employee handbooks, policies, and procedures
  • Proficiency in HR systems, such as Workday
  • Strong office software skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
