Audit Manager Opportunity

Ward Simpson Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join their London office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering audit engagements from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication throughout the audit cycle.
  • Lead teams through the planning, fieldwork, and completion of audit engagements.
  • Monitor team performance, manage budgets, and provide regular updates to the Audit Director and Partner.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback to ensure timely and effective engagement delivery.
  • Assist in tendering for new clients and maintaining existing relationships.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure efficient job completion and added value for clients.
  • Continuously develop technical skills in accounting and auditing standards.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties and business advisory work as required.
