Job Role: HGV Technician

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team at The Logistics Partnership LLP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all vehicles, trailers, and workshop equipment to company and legal standards to ensure maximum operational availability for the Transport Department.
  • Ensure the care and condition of all Company equipment is maintained and report all defects/damages.
  • Maintain a recording monitoring system to comply with legal and company requirements.
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure that site Health & Safety standards comply with Company Policy.

Working Hours / Rates:

This role is available on a straight Monday to Friday Late / Night Shift from 17:00 to 01:30 with half an hour unpaid lunch break. The basic hourly rate is up to £25.00 per hour with overtime available paid at time and a half.

Requirements:

  • Completed an HGV/LGV apprenticeship.
  • Your own tools.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Class 1 license would be beneficial but is not essential for this role.
  • Previous experience in reversing and moving vehicles into the workshop is desirable but training will be given.
