About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) team as a trainee. The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of the CAT programme, supporting the administration and pastoral care of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the CAT team on programme delivery days and performance events.
  • Be a point of contact for teaching assistants, in relation to time off, scheduling, training and cover.
  • Liaise with the CAT Physical Therapy Team, organizing student appointments for screenings, conditioning sessions and follow-up appointments.
  • Help create marketing material for CAT projects.
  • Report any serious pastoral and/or safeguarding concerns to management or a safeguarding officer in line with The Place's safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Help deliver student tutorials where needed.
  • Create forms for the purposes of data collection.
  • Help maintain and update relevant databases.
  • Support the CAT team in registration of students and monitoring of student attendance, ensuring they attend all relevant classes/appointments in line with Individual Training Plans.
  • Assist with student finance enquiries.
  • Draft copy for and assist in the promotion and marketing of CAT Programmes through The Place website, social and print media, in line with The Place and National CAT guidelines.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the dance sector and/or dance education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • IT literate.
  • Experience working/interacting with children (aged 10+).
  • Interest in developing a career in dance education administration.
