As a freelance interpreter translator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpreting services to clients across various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret for individuals using legal, health, and local government services
- Verify the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence
- Conduct conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handle confidential information
- Liaise between service users and providers
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and another language
- Right to work in the UK
- Aged 21 or over
- Formal qualifications in interpreting or translation (advantageous)
