About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Executive to join our team at Insight Select. As a key member of our new business department, you will play a vital role in driving growth and expansion through effective client relationships and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and tailor insurance solutions accordingly
  • Cross-sell and up-sell products to existing clients, maximizing revenue potential
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls, ensuring seamless communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and systems, ensuring timely updates on new clients and policies
  • Present the company's offerings to clients, highlighting unique value propositions
  • Proactively engage with clients throughout the policy term, providing exceptional service and support
  • Foster a strong network of clients to ensure repeat and longstanding business

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a new business or sales role is essential
  • Desirable: prior experience in motor insurance and Cert CII qualification
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with ability to build rapport with clients
  • Confidence in making outbound calls and chasing leads

What We Offer:

  • A competitive base salary of £28,000 - £45,000
  • A performance-based commission structure with an OTE of £60,000
