Culinary Team Member

Court Farm Inn is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commis to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting senior chefs in food production, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and participating in menu planning.
About the Position
- This is a part-time position, with a minimum of 25 hours per week guaranteed.
- The hourly rate is £11.50, with tips included.
- You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, developing your culinary skills and learning new techniques.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in food production, preparing ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Help with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items properly.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and effective communication during service.
