About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Practitioner to join our team at Greenmoss Medical Centre as a Partner. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our medical centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, autonomous decisions in relation to patient presented problems
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
- Prescribe medication adhering to local and national guidance
- Effectively manage patient long-term conditions
- Process referrals, repeat prescriptions requests, and other associated administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with good practice, policy, and guidance
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
- Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and audit processes
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement, quality initiatives, clinical governance, staff development, financial, and HR management within the Practice
- Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) of QOF
- Participate in the review of significant or near-miss events
- Attend and contribute effectively to Practice meetings, as required
- Prepare and complete the revalidation process

- Support the Partners in achieving the strategic aims of the Practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure
