Rail Project Engineer

About the Role:
">We are seeking an experienced Rail Project Engineer to oversee a prestigious rail project in the North East of England.
">Candidate Responsibilities:
">- Supervise and mentor junior engineers on-site
- Ensure accurate delivery against agreed timelines and construction methods
- Coordinate site preparation, ensuring clear work settings before commencement
- Monitor and maintain daily records, enforcing adherence among team members
- Collaborate with supervisors to develop 'look ahead' programmes aligned with the overall site schedule
- Identify, document, and report changes to the scope or programme
- Verify compliance with testing and sampling requirements as per specifications
- Track and address Non Conformance's, implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Provide precise setting out for works prior to commencement, allowing time for independent checks
Candidate Requirements:
">- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience working on large infrastructure projects for a tier 1 contractor
- Rail sector expertise
- CSCS/PTS certification
Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
