Job Role: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant to support an FE College in Northamptonshire. The job role involves working with highly skilled tutors in various courses such as Animal Care and Sports Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with their educational needs to ensure they succeed and reach their full potential in their chosen course.
  • Work with tutors to develop and implement individual learning plans.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with specific learning needs.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of lessons.
  • Communicate effectively with students, tutors, and other staff members.

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Experience of working with young people and meeting their particular needs and requirements.
  • Enthusiastic and positive approach to supporting young people to fulfil their potential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students at all levels.
  • Proven ability to work flexibly and able to work outside in land-based provision irrespective of weather.
