About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our client, a well-established and respected tier 2 contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of site staff and ensuring the smooth execution of residential groundworks projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of site staff, including sub-contractors and labourers.
  • Read and implement project drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site records and reports.
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to site.
  • Attend site meetings and contribute to the development of project plans.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a strong background in civil groundwork projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and company policies.
