About the Role

The Adolescent Safeguarding Team at Achieving for Children is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their team. As an Adolescent Safeguarding Social Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of adolescents, working closely with parents and carers to support their parenting capacity. You will also be involved in assessments, investigations, and child protection plans, as well as court work when required. The team works closely with Police, Health, and Education colleagues to ensure a robust multi-agency response to young people.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure high levels of quality interventions using AfC's social work practice model, Signs of Safety, agreed quality standards, and operating procedures.
* Safeguard adolescents from harm while supporting parents and carers in their parenting capacity.
* Work closely with Police, Health, and Education colleagues to ensure a robust multi-agency response to young people.

Requirements

* 2 years post-qualified experience in a Children's team, ideally with Adolescent Safeguarding experience.
* Strong knowledge of social work practice models, quality standards, and operating procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
