Job Title: Legal Secretary/Administrator

Location: Uxbridge

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Job Type: Full-time / Office Based

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary/Administrator to join a leading law firm in Uxbridge. As a key member of the Real Estate/Commercial Property team, you will provide administrative support to two fee earners, ensuring the smooth operation of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audio typing legal documents with high accuracy
  • Managing files, including opening and closing, and maintaining a secure filing system
  • Performing various administrative tasks, such as photocopying, binding, faxing, scanning, and document management
  • Liaising with HM Land Registry and HM Courts and Tribunals Service to ensure timely and accurate communication
  • Preparing bills and paying 3rd party disbursements
  • Checking deeds in and out of storage facilities and maintaining accurate records
  • Ordering local searches and verifying documentation
  • Proofreading and checking lengthy documentation for accuracy
  • Preparing outgoing mail and filing incoming correspondence
  • Assisting with file checking and preparation for audits
  • Providing general administrative support to the team

  • Knowledge and genuine interest in Property/Real Estate law
