About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for undertaking and reporting on a variety of ultrasound examinations, including obstetrics, gynaecology, and general medical ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake and report on ultrasound examinations to a high diagnostic standard
  • Provide a high-quality, efficient, and effective ultrasound service to patients
  • Work as an independent practitioner within your scope of practice
  • Contribute to the training and supervision of staff and students within the Ultrasound Unit
  • Safely use ultrasound equipment and resolve first-line problems
