Quantity Surveyor - Brackley Infrastructure Project

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client, an International Tier 1 contractor, on a large infrastructure project in Brackley. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Tier 1 contractors on large infrastructure projects/packages in excess of £30 million and will have experience working on NEC contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and agree variation accounts - main contract and sub-contracts.
  2. Monitor cost against targets and contract progress against accepted programmes and work plans in conjunction with other team disciplines.
  3. Provide input into change control procedures for EOT, delays and performance adjustment.
  4. Prepare and agree interim valuations, final valuations, final accounts and sub-contract final accounts.
  5. Prepare and issue certification and payment of sub-contractors.
  6. Provide contractual advice to management (ensure compliance with contract and legal administration obligations).
  7. Identify potential commercial risks and evaluate options for their control and management.
About You:
  • Qualified with a Quantity Surveying degree or similar.
  • Successful experience at Quantity Surveyor level, displaying skill in delivering a positive commercial outcome for the project(s) with which you have been associated.
  • You must hold a full driving license.
