Senior Lecturer Business Management

The Department of Business and Law at Solent University is seeking a Senior Lecturer for Business Management to teach across a range of business topics within our Higher Degree Apprenticeship suite of programmes.

The role involves ensuring the effective development and delivery of teaching, enhancing student experience, progression, and attainment. Additionally, the role supports the Apprenticeship Programme Manager in ensuring quality assurance criteria around end-point assessment portfolio readiness and supporting portfolio development.

We are looking for a candidate with strong experience of delivering on and supporting Higher Degree Apprenticeship programmes. Relevant teaching and industry experience related to Higher Degree Apprenticeship business management topic areas is highly valued.

Solent University is a triple TEF Gold institution with a strong network of industry experts and alumni who input into the curriculum. The Department holds Department-wide events and insight series to extend staff and student networks.

As this role is linked to Higher Degree Apprenticeships, there may be requirements for teaching/engagement to take place across weekends or outside normal working hours on occasion. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.

During the interview, shortlisted candidates will be asked to design and deliver a 10-minute micro-teaching session on 'Introduce and explain the KSBs in relation to the CMDA standard and how to integrate these into your learning and portfolio.'
