Job Title: Senior Lecturer Business Management

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Lecturer to join our Business and Law Department at Solent University Services Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing modules across a range of business topics, including the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) and Senior Leader Higher Degree Apprenticeship (SLA). The role will involve ensuring the effective development and delivery of teaching, enhancing student experience, progression, and attainment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials
  • Support the Apprenticeship Programme Manager in ensuring quality assurance criteria around end-point assessment portfolio readiness
  • Contribute to the development of the Business and Law Department's curriculum and research agenda
  • Engage with industry experts and alumni to inform curriculum development and research
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in business management, teaching experience, and a PhD (or close to completion). The ideal candidate will have knowledge of learning pedagogies, online and blended learning, and the ability to develop interactive materials for virtual learning environments.
