Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the commercial interests of the delivery team are protected at all times
  • Lead, mentor, and manage staff within the team
  • Promote good working relationships by acting in a respectful and professional manner
  • Demonstrate awareness of and assist the site team to ensure compliance with HSEQ and statutory regulations
  • Comply with all Veolia policies and procedures
  • Experience of estimating and implementing effective cost control mechanisms
  • Change Management
  • Sub Contract Management - Enquiry, subcontract drafting, measurement, valuation agreement, and payment
  • Support project procurement
  • Provide timely and good quality management reports to the Senior Commercial Manager and senior leadership team when requested
  • Commercial support to other business departments
  • Manage day-to-day commercial issues and administration
Requirements
  • Passionate and experienced Commercial Manager with a proven track record in stakeholder management and problem-solving
  • Thorough knowledge of forms of contract, including NEC
  • Experience working for a main contractor, preferably in the energy sector
