Maintenance and Handyman Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled maintenance/handyman to join our team at South Care Homes Ltd.

The successful candidate will work across our two nursing homes, undertaking a variety of tasks including building maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep.

As a maintenance/handyman, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, working closely with our care teams to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements
  • Assisting with building maintenance and upkeep
  • Working with the care team to identify and resolve maintenance issues
  • Providing a safe and comfortable environment for residents

Requirements:

  • Good building maintenance skills and experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including on-call duties
