Initial Response Service Position

Tripod Partners are recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join their 24/7 service in Lancaster, North Lancashire. As a key member of this dynamic team, you will be responsible for providing timely mental health assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out comprehensive risk assessments to safeguard service user wellbeing.
  2. Communicate risk management strategies with relevant professionals and agencies.
  3. Offer exceptional care to service users with complex mental health needs.
  4. Foster collaboration between multidisciplinary teams and external agencies for holistic care.
Position Information:
  1. Location: Lancaster, North Lancashire
  2. Work Pattern: Rotating shifts to cover a 24/7 service (full-time or part-time available)
  3. Contract Duration: 3 Months
  4. Rates:
  • Weekday Rate: £25.00 per hour
  • Saturday/Night Rate: £33.00 per hour
  • Sunday/Bank Holiday Rate: £40.00 per hour
Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE availableEssential Requirements:
  1. Qualification in a core profession such as RMN (NMC registered), OT, or Social Worker.
  2. Experience working in mental health environments with varying levels of intensity.
  3. Strong skills in risk assessment and management.
  4. Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and collaborate within a team environment.

Estimated annual salary for this position is £32,000-£37,000, considering standard working hours and payment rates mentioned.
