">We are seeking to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Nurse with RNC qualification for the Children's Ambulatory Care and Outpatient Unit. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent care for children and young people, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion.
The Children's Ambulatory Care and Outpatient Unit caters to all disciplines within the Child Health Department, offering opportunities to work alongside multidisciplinary teams. We provide a range of services, including nurse-led clinics and supporting specialist nurses.
Our unit offers a full range of education opportunities to maintain your continued professional development (CPD), including learning new skills such as venepuncture and cannulation, central line management, and medicines management.
- To provide high-quality, family-centered care to children undergoing planned elective day surgery.
- To plan, deliver, and supervise safe and compassionate care, evaluating its effectiveness.
- To contribute to the effective running of the department by demonstrating leadership qualities and being open, transparent, and trustworthy.
- To support staff in developing clinical procedures, ambulatory care pathways, and practices to ensure effective delivery of service to children and young people.

Person Specification: Qualifications- A Registered Children's RNC Nurse on the NMC Register.
- Administration of IV medication.
- Experience in an acute setting or ward experience in administering immunizations/ BCG with anaphylaxis knowledge.
- Evidence of relevant post-registration training and development.
- Knowledge and experience of Windows 10.
