CAMHS Psychiatry Expert

Athona Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled CAMHS Specialty Doctor to join our private service based in Nottingham. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric and external assessments to determine the appropriate level of care, working under the direction and supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist.
- Prepare discharge summaries, reports, and other necessary documentation, as directed and supervised by the Consultant Psychiatrist.
- Participate in learning activities, supervision, and clinical governance activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
- Work effectively with colleagues to ensure clients have access to appropriate medical cover at all times, participating in an on-call rota for the site.
- Support the GP in delivering physical healthcare and emergency treatment to patients with complex care needs.

Requirements:
- Full GMC registration.
- 12 months' experience in CAMHS psychiatry.
- Relevant experience within a similar setting (preferred).
- Proven record of continuing professional development.
- Previous mental health inpatient experience (desirable).
