About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our team at South Gloucestershire Council. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our pupils and staff to learn and work in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out cleaning duties at various corporate sites, following schedules and quality standards.
  • Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively, including washing and wiping surfaces, cleaning toilets, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Travel between sites to cover for annual leave and other absences.
  • Follow processes for the safe storage and use of cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

  • Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks to an agreed standard.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
