Silicon Photonics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Silicon Photonics Engineer with experience in photonic integrated circuitry and optical computer networks & systems. This role involves working on cutting-edge products in AI and Machine Learning.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our client's team as a Silicon Photonics Engineer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in silicon photonics, photonic integrated circuitry, and optical computer networks & systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with design, development, and testing of photonic devices and systems. A good understanding of machine learning algorithms and their applications in AI would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test photonic devices and systems
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate photonic components into larger systems
  • Collaborate with software engineers to develop machine learning algorithms and integrate them with photonic devices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in silicon photonics, photonic integrated circuitry, and optical computer networks & systems
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
