Join Our Team as a Residential Healthcare Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of a Residential Healthcare Assistant at Canford Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our elderly residents.

About the Role:
  • To provide person-centred care and support to our residents, promoting their dignity, comfort, and well-being.
  • To work collaboratively with the senior nursing team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, maintaining a high level of hygiene.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as serving meals and mobilising them as needed.
  • Support residents to maintain their independence by identifying and assisting with their needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of observations and communicate effectively with the senior nurse on duty.
Requirements and Benefits:
  • Previous experience in the residential healthcare sector and knowledge of caring for the elderly.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • A caring personality and ability to be flexible with working hours, including weekends.
  • Competitive salary (£26,500 - £31,200 per annum) depending on experience.
