**Job Title:** Academic Caregiver

**About the Role:** We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as an Academic Caregiver. As a dedicated Pastoral Leader, you will oversee the operational responsibilities of an allocated House, supporting students' welfare and progress.

**Key Responsibilities:*** Provide individual student support and manage any disputes or issues.* Supervise students during school hours, ensuring punctuality, good behaviour, and overall well-being.* Collaborate with the Housemaster/Housemistress on student welfare matters, acting independently when needed.* Assist in organizing House activities, including social and sporting events.* Ensure compliance with School policies and National Minimum Boarding Standards.* Carry out cleaning and laundry routines, as well as deep cleaning when needed.

**Additional Responsibilities:*** Attend training and stay up to date with current legislation relevant to your role.* Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all staff and students you interact with.* Promote equal opportunities awareness, adhering to the school's Equal Opportunities policy.* Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in your care.

**What We're Looking For:** A compassionate, organized individual with experience in student welfare. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Previous experience in pastoral care or working with young people is desirable. Understanding of safeguarding and health and safety protocols.
