Job Summary
Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Directorate Lead Dietitian to join our team. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate take on a key leadership role in the development of clinical services across our Adult Learning Disability outpatient services in Bromley, Bexley, and Greenwich.
The Directorate Lead Dietitian will be responsible for providing strategic direction to the development of an ALD Dietetic Service, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dietetics, with experience in clinical leadership and service development. They will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the needs of our patients and the importance of delivering person-centred care.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction to the development of an ALD Dietetic Service
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients
- Develop and implement robust cross-organisation pathways
- Identify and hold a small caseload for short targeted work of adult clients who have a learning disability

Person Specification
- Broad clinical experience to include time working in relevant specialist clinical area of dietetics
- Clinical and/or managerial experience which demonstrates the ability to initiate, develop and implement significant programmes of work
- Degree in Dietetics supplemented by diploma level specialist training, management qualification or equivalent and experience
