Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Vision for Education - Teesside Primary and York. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our primary school pupils.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work as part of a forward-thinking team, working with children within a mixed Y3/4 class. The successful candidate will have a passion for the progress of primary school pupils and an ability to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities to pupils
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons and resources
  • Provide individual support to pupils who require additional help
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils within KS2 desirable
  • Passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • Ability to work as part of a team
