Mercury Hampton is partnering with a leading company in the bathroom and plumbing products industry to recruit an Area Sales Manager for their team in the South West UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to manage and develop customer relationships in a defined region, helping the company achieve its business objectives.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, and expanding relationships with both existing and new customers across the South West UK region. They will identify and pursue new business opportunities, creating and executing strategic plans to meet KPIs. The Area Sales Manager will analyse sales performance, prepare reports, and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs. Additionally, they will deliver engaging and informative sales presentations to various audiences and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with sales strategies.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated, and results-driven, with excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. They should be highly organised, able to manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks. The successful candidate will have experience in account or territory management with a proven track record of meeting sales targets. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) is also essential. A full UK driving licence is required.

What We Offer
A competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, supplemented by a £500 per month car allowance and a performance-based bonus. Mobile phone and laptop provision are included, along with a monthly broadband allowance. A comprehensive benefits package, including pension contributions, life assurance, income protection, critical illness cover, and health & wellbeing support, is also offered. This role involves travel across the South West UK region, including occasional overnight stays, with flexibility to work from home.
