Vickerstock is partnering with our renowned FMCG client to appoint a Technical Manager to join their team based in Newtownards. As the successful Technical Manager, you will be responsible for all technical and food safety aspects of site food production, including quality systems, food safety, and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of the Food Safety and Quality Plan for the site, including its distribution chain.
  • Develop and maintain all Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems, including HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, BRC, customer, and legal standards.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Managing a multiskilled team with middle to senior management experience.
  • Organizing and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with authorities, retail customers, and stakeholder groups.
