We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to join our Urgent and Inpatient Care Psychology Team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality psychological services to patients in our acute adult inpatient wards in Exeter.
About the Team:
Our team is committed to providing a psychologically informed environment, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering excellent care. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to individuals and groups. You will also provide reflective practice, training, and clinical supervision to the team.
About the Trust:
Devon Partnership NHS Trust provides mental health, learning disability, and neurodiversity services across the south west region. We are committed to promoting good mental health and wellbeing, and we strive to deliver high-quality services that are safe and focused on people's recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality psychological services to patients in our acute adult inpatient wards.
- Provide specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to individuals and groups.
- Provide reflective practice, training, and clinical supervision to the team.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent care.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (or equivalent) and eligible for Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist Status in the British Psychological Society.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working in adult mental health services and with people who have severe and complex mental health difficulties.
- Experience of teaching, training, and/or supervision.
- Leadership qualities, resilience, and ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty.
