Azure Cloud Engineer - Hybrid Role

Henderson Scott is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems and applications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and performance of our cloud infrastructure, as well as its ability to scale to meet business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Azure services, including virtual networks, storage accounts, and virtual machines.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using Azure services, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and services, automating cloud-based deployments.
  • Implement security best practices for cloud-based applications and services, designing cost-effective cloud-based solutions, including backup and disaster recovery.
  • Develop and maintain Azure automation scripts, optimizing cloud-based resources for performance and cost.
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions for customers, ensuring scalability and performance.

Requirements:

  • Cloud infrastructure design and cloud-based application development.
  • Linux and Windows Server Operating Systems.
  • Software development and deployment pipelines.
  • Development and DevOps processes.
  • Web application firewalls.
  • Azure Active Directory, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines.
  • Cloud security best practices, resource optimization, scalability, performance monitoring, and cloud-based solution implementation.
