About the Role:
eXPD8 is seeking a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our team in the Macclesfield area. As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance and Standards: You will know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
- Product Placement and Replenishment: You will arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
- Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You will set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
- Strong Communication and Relationship Building: You will build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
Requirements:
- Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive having ownership of your own work within set time frames, using your own initiative to find solutions.
- Pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients.
- Comfortable with manual handling, moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
- Willingness to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits.
- Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about your tasks.
- A full UK driving license and access to a car is a bonus.
