CV-Library is supporting a leading automotive manufacturer in appointing a Telematics Unit Project Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and release TCU configuration data for European vehicles to meet quality, cost, and timing targets.
  2. Manage Tier 1 suppliers to deliver products that meet the required standards.
  3. Coordinate in-house and supplier TCU validation to ensure compliance with Nissan design standards.
  4. Collaborate with Off Board Connected Car test teams and customer-oriented engineering teams to confirm system performance.
  5. Project manage cross-carline projects for on-board and off-board connected car and infotainment teams.
  6. Work with connected car design and test teams to define and maintain project development scope, schedule, and test plans.
  7. Manage and maintain cross-carline development planners and ensure project engineers meet quality targets.
  8. Perform design reviews at key milestones.
  9. Implement on-board telematics systems for Nissan vehicles manufactured in Europe for global markets.
  10. Understand mobile network infrastructure and data transfer.
  11. Have knowledge of non-European mobile networks.
