Exciting Opportunity in Automotive Retail

CV-Library is seeking a highly skilled Telematics Unit Project Design Engineer to join our team in the automotive retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and release TCU configuration data for European vehicles.
  2. Manage Tier 1 suppliers to deliver products to Quality, Cost & Timing targets.
  3. Coordinate in-house and supplier TCU validation to Nissan design standards ahead of new software releases.
  4. Collaborate with Off Board Connected Car test teams and customer-oriented engineering team to confirm system performance for remote commands.
  5. Project manage cross carline projects for both on board and off board connected car and infotainment teams.
  6. Work with connected car design and test teams to define and maintain project development scope, schedule, and test plans.
  7. Manage and maintain cross carline development planner and ensure project engineers meet quality targets through all gateways.
  8. Perform design reviews at key milestones.
  9. Implement on-board telematics systems for Nissan vehicles manufactured in Europe for global markets.
  10. Understand mobile network infrastructure and data transfer.
  11. Have knowledge of non-European mobile networks.
