Join HAR Labcorp Early Development Laboratories Limited as we seek an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to lead our EHS initiatives and ensure a safe working environment for our employees.
About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to provide leadership and direction in minimizing EHS-related risk for our Eye and Shardlow sites. As a key member of our team, you will oversee EHS operations, manage reports, and administer environmental, health, and safety programs to meet regulatory requirements and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical expertise and guidance to minimize EHS-related risk
- Oversee EHS operations for the Eye facility and manage reports
- Administer environmental, health, and safety programs to meet regulatory requirements and company objectives
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the site organization
- Partner with site management to ensure applicable EHS-related goals and regulatory requirements
- Perform supervisory duties, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and training
- Bachelor's degree in Life or Physical Sciences
- Extensive experience working in a laboratory or research and development setting or similar chemical or high hazard industry
- Professional certification in Health and Safety and Biosafety
- Occupational Hygiene and Environmental qualification desirable
