Snapchat is a technology company that empowers people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

We're looking for an Advanced Machine Learning Developer for our Generative ML Platform team at Snap Inc. This role involves developing state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for 3D human body reconstruction and generative image synthesis.

Key Responsibilities:

You will work on creating new ways to employ computer vision to give Snapchat users exciting new tools and develop new human-centric Augmented Reality and Generative AI use cases.

  1. Developing Computer Vision Algorithms: You will develop state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms for 3D human body reconstruction to power AR effects on Snapchat and Spectacles.
  2. 3D Human Face Tracking and Reconstruction: You will develop computer vision systems for 3D human face tracking and reconstruction to power AR facial effects.
  3. Generative AI Pipelines: You will develop state-of-the-art Generative AI pipelines for human-centric image and video generation.
Requirements:
  • Passion for Computer Vision and Machine Learning: A passion for computer vision machine learning and staying up-to-date with research.
  • Masters Degree or PhD: A Masters degree and/or PhD in CV/ML for 3D human reconstruction for body/face/hands or GenAI-based image/video generation.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
  • Deep Learning Frameworks: Experience with major deep learning frameworks: PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Estimated Salary:

$150,000 - $200,000 per year.
