About the Role:

As a Computer Vision Engineer at Amazon, you will play a critical role in developing foundational computer vision capabilities for billions of images owned by Amazon. You will work on technologies ranging from content moderation and product classification to marketing optimization and recommendation systems.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating novel computer vision algorithms, working on large-scale datasets to create scalable, robust, and accurate computer vision systems, collaborating with other scientists and engineers to drive systems from prototyping to production level, and engaging with the scientific community within Amazon and beyond.

Requirements:

  • PhD or Master's degree in CS, CE, ML, or related field
  • Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related language
  • Experience developing and implementing deep learning algorithms, particularly with respect to computer vision algorithms
