SEN English Education Position

We are looking for an experienced English teacher to join our team at Exclusive Education. As a SEN English teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students with Special Educational Needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and experience working with children who require additional support. A relevant teaching qualification and QTS are essential, along with eligibility to work in the UK or residency.
This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £14-£180 per day, depending on experience. We also provide excellent rates of pay, direct links to local schools, and dedicated consultants who cater to your employment needs.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Teach English to students with Special Educational Needs
- Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a supportive learning environment
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE, BA Hons)
- Eligibility to work in the UK or residency
- Previous experience working with children and supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Good knowledge of the full English curriculum
- Previous KS3, KS4, and KS5 teaching experience
- Two references from working with children covering the last 2 years
- Certified DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
