Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Disability Assessor. As a Disability Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), writing factual evidence-based reports, and reviewing further medical evidence for cases.
About the Role:
- Conduct assessments to determine the level of benefit entitlement for individuals with disabilities or health conditions.
- Write comprehensive reports based on assessment findings, including medical evidence and recommendations.
- Review additional medical evidence to support or refute initial assessment findings.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare professionals, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- 1 year post-graduate experience as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RLND), Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Paramedic.
- Hold a valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
