About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our busy Outpatients department at Duchy Hospital. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent patient care and support to patients and families
  • Work closely with Registered Nurses and consultants to ensure a safe and caring environment
  • Assist with clinical procedures and tasks as required
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Warm, considerate, and empathetic approach to patient care
