We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at PA Housing. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out quality and efficient testing, repairs, and upgrades to both un-occupied and occupied properties.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out high-quality repairs to the housing stock in accordance with customer requirements, working on both occupied and empty homes as needed.
- Liaise with other sections/trades to ensure implementation and completion of repairs and maintenance works.
- Use tools, machinery, equipment, or hazardous substances in accordance with provided information and instruction.
- Report any health and safety concerns or dangers to line management promptly.
- Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota.
- Work at heights, climbing ladders and competently undertaking duties as an operative.
- Operate a van provided by the company, requiring a valid driver's license.
- Driving License
- AM2 National Electrotechnical training
- C&G Level 3 Certificate in Inspection, Testing, and Certification of electrical (2391 or BS2391 or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 18th Edition (Level 3 award in the requirements for electrical installations BS 7671:2018)
- Relevant experience post-qualification
- Level 3 Electro technical studies C&G 2330 or 2357 or equivalent
Starting at £35,875, your salary will increase to £37,875 upon completion of the required accreditation. Additionally, your salary will increase by 4.25% after completing your probation period.
