At BNY Mellon, we're seeking a seasoned professional to join our Operations Control Management team as a Senior Vice President, Control Manager. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in risk and control management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify key areas requiring risk and control focus and support.
  • Lead the production of key artefacts, including those for the Operations HLA, Operations Control Forum, Management Business Review, and Internal Business Reviews.
  • Provide guidance and thought leadership on the use of the risk framework.
  • Offer flexible leadership and support for ad-hoc pieces of work as needed.
  • Develop and implement control and risk education programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred, with experience in the securities or financial services industry.
  • Strong skills in control testing, advisory, complex analysis, multitasking, adaptability, risk management, control, problem-solving, proactive risk culture, risk management, control management, audit, regulatory, risk framework, critical thinking, detail-oriented process improvement, automation, stakeholder/relationship management, and client-facing/consultative experience.
