About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and flexible individual to join our Conferencing & Events team as a Casual Conference & Events Porter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our events and conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Move furniture between meeting spaces to create an effective and efficient layout
- Follow detailed room set up plans to ensure a seamless event experience
- Set up audio visual equipment to meet the needs of our guests
- Deliver exceptional guest service by ensuring all room facilities are met to a high standard
- React promptly to guest queries and requirements on the day
- Contribute to the security of our property and guests
- Assist the banqueting service team with conference set ups and turns rounds
- Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure a cohesive event experience
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness within your areas of work
- Report any maintenance faults to ensure prompt resolution
