Casual Conference & Events Porter

An exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-established Conferencing & Events team.

Key Responsibilities

· Transporting furniture between various meeting areas

· Adhering to detailed room configuration plans

· Setting up audio-visual systems

· Ensuring guest requirements regarding room facilities are met to high standards

· Addressing guest inquiries and needs on the event day

· Ensuring the security of the venue and its guests.

· Supporting the banqueting service team with conference arrangements and transitions.

· Collaborating with other hotel departments, including the Conference and Banqueting sales team.

· Complying with all health and safety regulations.

· Maintaining cleanliness standards in your work areas.

· Reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

· Ability to work independently and take initiative

· Flexibility to work various shift patterns

· Strong team player

· Physical fitness and resilience are essential

· Capability to work diligently and unsupervised at all times

· Quick learner with a willingness to develop skills

· Exceptional customer service skills, with proficient spoken English

· Confidence in working with audio-visual equipment
